About 40 min away from Kochi, 976 Panangad is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the birds and backwaters of Kerala, and eat delicious food. The first thing to notice upon arrival were the stunning gardens surrounding the beautiful villa. We were welcomed by Robby, the friendly manager who was always around when needed, but at the same time gave us our personal space. Rooms and bathrooms were comfy and roomy. 976 Panangad is clean and well maintained. We’d love to return here one day and explore more of Kochi.

Absolutely beautiful home in the middle of a cardamom plantation. Stunning. We used this house to decompress and catch up on work after being in North India for a few weeks. It was a perfect place to relax. The food was exquisite and the staff could not have been more kind!

I planned our trip to Kerala around the availability of this property and it exceeded our expectations. The property is large, spacious and beautifully furnished. The views across the valley are stunning and the birdsong in the early morning is wonderful. The housekeeping staff are great and the chef will prepare the most delicious food. This is a very special property for those who prefer to stay a little out of town. Absolutely fantastic stay.

This beautiful, two-bedroom lodge is adjacent to the Periyar river. The gardens are beautiful and the view from the outdoor pool is stunning. The rooms are luxurious and the bathrooms are delightful. The food is outstanding and the service is fantastic. A fantastic place to relax and immerse yourself in nature. Very highly recommended!!

The property has been designed to an exceptional finish and provides ample space to enjoy your stay. The quality of the furnishing and large sliding windows makes for an enjoyable stay. The resident caretaker, Sajeev was outstanding and so attentive and support to our family (and our driver) during the stay. The chef was also incredible - serving up some great dishes and tailoring to our palates/tastes.

Just spent one night here, was a superb experience on the banks of Kuttampuzha river. It’s evident that the owners have maintained the originality of their native home. Great staff, Rahul the manager and his team, nice small pool to cool yourself. Relaxing boat ride. And of course, a super bird watching trek in nearby Thattekad sanctuary. This is quintessential Kerala, with nature and man living harmoniously. Time taking its own course. Only minus point is weather as its tropical hot and cools down a bit only when it rains.
